The design of this large table is a modification of an overlapping, interlocking square pattern used by traditional quilters.  Two colors—pink and green—of square glass tiles are used to form the mosaic squares.  The square infills are dominated by light and medium floral china and porcelain pieces with a patterned design between and within rows.  Between the squares are rows of darker china pieces used to set off the lighter squares.  The border is made of rectangular white and dark blue ceramic tiles on the edges and blue-and-white china pieces at the rounded corners.  The black metal base is wholly welded and very strong.  The glass table top is 33½ x 47½ inches and the table stands 17½ inches in height.
